Striking original Nishijima woodblock print, 2005, “Iseki” ed. 500.  Wonderful, colorful rendering of shop in Tokyo with open umbrellas framing doorway.  Blue roof tiles and various architectural elements add to drama. Pencil signed and numbered by the artist. Very good condition. Nishijima is fast becoming one of the most collected contemporary woodblock artists in Japan today. Great investment – with each buying trip to Japan, we find prices for his works double! Dimensions: 11" x 15.5".
