Breathtaking original Nishijima woodblock print, 2005, “Sushi Kyo” (Sushi Shop), ed. 500.  Delightful rendering of colorful sushi ship in Mie prefecture, featuring red benches, and deep blue sky.  Pencil signed and numbered by the artist. Very good condition. Nishijima is fast becoming one of the most collected contemporary woodblock artists in Japan today. Great investment – with each buying trip to Japan, we find prices for his works double! Dimensions: 11" x 15.5".
