Enchanting fifteen-piece Japanese Hina doll set, Taisho period, c. 1912-1926.  Handcrafted in Kyoto indicating an exceptionally high level of quality.  Highly detailed, with each figure costumed in fine silk brocade.  Expressive, individualized gofun faces, abundant accessories, including lacquer wood stands for emperor and empress.  Very good condition.  Dimensions:  5” wide, 6” high (emperor and empress); 4” wide, 6” high (standing figures); 3.5” wide, 4” high (seated figures).  Very good condition.
