Rare Japanese court lady doll with chin-biki dog, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912.  Beautifully crafted with enchanting expression and pose.  Remarkable detail, even down to the sweet dog costumed in red cape!   This style doll is becoming more and more difficult to find, especially of this age and in such good condition.  Dimensions:  6” wide, 10.5” high.
