Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Miniature five-piece set of Japanese musician or hayashi dolls, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912.  Rare size a fantastic find.  Traditionally displayed on Hinamatsuri or Girls' Day Festival, celebrated annually on March 3 in Japan. High-quality, silk-brocade costumes. Accessories include a variety of instruments. Fine detail in gofun faces and hands and charming individual expressions and postures. Very good condition.
