Impressive antique set of three miniature Japanese Girls Day furniture pieces representing traditional lacquer mirror, sewing box, and lacquer clothing chest tansu, Taisho Era, c. 1912-1926.  Exquisitely handpainted with remarkable detail in vivid gold patterned motif against dramatic black background.  Beautiful handpainted landscape scenes on the sliding panel doors of the clothing chest.  Accents include eye-catching gold outlining, metal fixtures, mirror, traditional red and white tassels and a rich, red pin cushion.  Metal fixtures include traditional hirute-style drawer pulls and bold, circular lockplates, lending distinctive flare.  Wonderful miniature representations of life size lacquer furniture.  Comes with original kiri wood storage box.  A fabulous addition to any Hina set!  Very good condition.  Dimensions: 5” high, 4” wide (box).
