Remarkable antique Japanese Girls Day miniature lacquer cosmetic set for Hina festival dolls, Taisho Era, c. 1912-1926.   Abundant number of lacquered accessories rendered with fascinating detail and intricacy.  Delightful miniature representations of life size pieces.  Exquisitely handpainted with remarkable detail in sumptuous gold patterned motif against dramatic black lacquer background.  Accents include tiny metal fixtures and traditional red and white tassels.  Comes with original kiri wood storage box.  A fantastic addition to any Hina set!  Very good condition. Dimensions: 7” high; 13” wide (box).
