Antique set of miniature Japanese Girls Day furniture representing traditional lacquer vanity and sewing box, Taisho Era, c. 1912-1926.  Exquisitely handpainted with remarkable detail in vivid gold patterned motif against dramatic black background.  Accents include gold outlining, metal fixtures, mirror,  traditional red and white tassels and a rich, red pin cushion.  Metal fixtures include traditional hirute-style drawer pulls, lending distinctive flare.  Fabulous miniature representations of life size lacquer furniture.  Comes with original kiri wood storage box.  A wonderful addition to any Hina set!  Very good condition.  Dimensions: 7” high, 7.5” wide (box).
