Enchanting Japanese Hirado porcelain okimono of an akita puppy in pure white porcelain, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912. Traditionally made for the samurai class as a gift within ranks.  Large and impressive size.  Very good condition.  Dimensions:  5” x 8.5” x 6”.
