Beautifully rustic Chinese provincial country glazed white ware ginger jar, 18th century.  Fine, naturalistic country style jar used for storage of preserved ginger root. Beautiful grey-blue underglazed accents handpainted along the wonderful bulblike shape.  Fabulous rustic texture and feel, with an appealing even crackle across the surface.  Ideal for flowers or display.  Beautiful, appealing simplicity and provincial character. Very good condition. Dimensions: 6" x 6".
