Fanciful and unusual Japanese silver place card name tag holder for the dinner table, turn-of-the-century Meiji period, c. 1900.  Fantastic rendering of a ship with wind-filled sail and waves, fashioned entirely of sterling silver.  Delightful metalwork lines and craftsmanship.  Made for export to England from Japan.  Very good condition.  A detailed and imaginative collector's item!  Very good condition.
