Charming and unusual Japanese silver place card name tag holder for the dinner table, turn-of-the-century Meiji period, c. 1900.  Lovely rendering of a traditional paper lantern with blossoming flower decor, fashioned entirely of sterling silver.  Delightful metalwork lines and craftsmanship.  Made for export to England from Japan.  Very good condition.  A sweetly rendered, imaginative collector's item!  Very good condition.
