Glorious Japanese silk wedding kimono or furisode, mid-20th century. Dramatic red ground with stunning floral motif. Highly detailed Yuzen pattern rendered with extraordinary workmanship.  Abundant gold couching accents. Slight train with heavy padded hem. The furisode is traditionally worn at weddings and other formal occasions by the unmarried women guests. A dynamic piece of art for wear or display.  Very good condition.  Dimensions:  52" wide sleeve tip-to-tip, 72" long.
