Lovely Japanese silk wedding kimono or uchikake, mid-20th century.  Dramatic pine motif features three different cloud-like patterns.  Appealing contrast between gold and silver as well as red and white.  Very  fine and meticulous embroidery a wonderful accent.  Slight train with heavy padded hem.  These were and still are traditionally worn over the kimono and obi of a bride. A dynamic piece of art for wear or display. Very good condition.  Dimensions:  52" wide, 72" long.
