Refined, gracefully rendered Japanese silver container with lid, Taisho Era, c. 1912-1926.  Fine detail in craftsmanship shown, with a beautifully formed chrysanthemum top knot and a fabulous, hammered metal orange-peel texture to the body.  Strong, classic form with gracefully curving lines.  A beautiful work of silver metalwork art, ideal for serving, storing treasured valuables, or for simple, beautiful stand-alone display.  Very good condition.  Dimensions: 4" high, 9” diameter.
