Fabulous, massive pair of Japanese lacquered wood candle stands orshokudai, Taisho Era, c. 1912-1926.  Elegant, refined kiku (chrysanthemum) motif in the traditional design.  Appealing worn texture and coloration gained over time. Antique matching pair difficult to find, especially in these phenomenal dimensions.  Spectacular size ideal for eye-catching interior décor, entertaining, or collective display.  A remarkable collector’s set.   Dimensions: 30.5”" high, 7.5" wide.  Very good condition.
