Exquisite Japanese makie lacquer ornamental hair comb and pin (kushi and kougai), Meiji period, c. 1900. Marvelously rendered floral motif in rich blue against gold ground. Enchanting design and workmanship. Artist signed.  Dimensions: (comb) 2.5" x 2.5"; (bobkin) 6". Very good condition. A great addition to any collection!
