Dazzling, light-brown individually handpainted lacquered wood lidded bowl, Meijiperiod, late 19th century.  Extraordinary workmanship with imaginative, unique seasonal and festival motif in brilliant, highly detailed gold.  Artist Shunsei.  Delicate shape, remarkably smooth, silk-like lacquer.  A rare, invaluable find!  Dimensions:  5.25” x 2.25”.  Excellent condition; apparently never used.  We have several, each unique.  Buy one or all!
