Superb Chinese celadon porcelain writer’s block, Sung dynasty, c. 1200. Traditionally used by scholars and money changers to prevent others from viewing what they were writing.  Lovely fine crackle and shape.  Appealing clay exposure beneath.  Very good condition.  Dimensions:  5.5” x 5.75” x 1”.
