Fantastic set of five Japanese bamboo and lacquer covered bowls, early-mid 20th century. Exquisitely carved bamboo vessels with gorgeous lacquer interior and maki-e decor on inside of each lid.  Exceptional artisanship. Sublime! Very good condition with minor evidence of aging.  Dimensions:  3.25” (8 cm) high, 3.25” (8 cm) diameter.
