Magnificent pair Japanese Satsuma Kyo-yaki ceramic vases with Kinkozan mark, late Edo period, c. 1800-1868.  Stunning workmanship features raised (moriage) birds, flowers and dramatic lotus leaves.  Vivid and varied colors.  Exceptionally rare to find a matching pair!  Price shown is for both, but may be sold separately.  Very good condition with minor, inconspicuous loss on one leaf.  Dimensions: 10” x 8”; 9” x 8”.
