Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Delightful himitsu bako secret puzzle box from the Hakone region of Japan, early 20th century.  Crafted from a variety of natural woods laid in elaborate geometric patterns.  This gorgeous, highly detailed technique originated in late Edo period.  An exceptional example!  Very good condition, minor discoloring commensurate with age.  Dimensions:  7” x 5.5” x 8”.
