Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Fabulous Korean stone garden basin known as a tsukubai in Japan, Chosun period, 19th century.  Beautifully crafted in wide-brimmed cone form.  Stone basins traditionally were placed in ancient shrines, temple and tea gardens or entrances.  Visitors used these to wash before entering for the purpose of humbling and purification.  A fabulous piece!  Very good condition.  Dimensions:  20” x 24”.   Features Please note that, when ordering through our shopping cart, your credit card will be processed only after confirmation of availability and shipping options.
