Fine Japanese cast-iron kama tea kettle for the tea ceremony, Taisho period, c. 1912-1926. Highly desirable arari (hail) or hobnail kettle design. Beautifully crafted in appealing low form. Fine quality with artist mark on underside of bronze lid. Very good, water-tight condition, great for the tea ceremony practitioner or enthusiast! Dimensions: 8” high w/handle, 5” w/out, 7” diameter.
