Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Dynamic pair of Japanese takeda warrior dolls, late Edo period, c. 1800-1868.  Remarkable animated expressions and poses, comically menacing. Detailed and varied silk costumes. Accessories include staffs and handpainted lacquer base.  Very good condition with minor costume wear commensurate with age. Dimensions:  14.5” high (doll), 9” high (doll), 4.5” high, 22” wide, 11” deep (stand).
