Extraordinary Japanese takeda doll, late Edo period, c.1800-1868. Superbly rendered with highly detailed face and pose.  Varied silk costume with embroidery.  Accessories include quiver of arrows and  black lacquer stand.  Very good condition with minor wear commensurate with age.  Dimensions:  14.5” high (doll), 2.5” high,12” wide, 8.5” deep.
