Remarkable set of 10 Japanese black lacquer plates, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912.  Korin utsushi style lacquer on textured wood.  Each plate individually handpainted in Rinpa school style.  An exceptional collection.  Comes with tomobako kiri wood storage box. Very good condition.  Dimensions:  7.25” (18 cm) square.
