Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Wonderful old Japanese standing samurai musha warrior doll with yari (spear), Meiji period, c. 1868-1912.  Crafted in Kyoto, indicating and exceptional level of quality and artisanship.  Created for display on Boys' Day, celebrated annually in Japan on May 5. Exceptionally expressive gofun face and fine detail in silk brocade costume. Additional accessories include spear, sword, hat and black lacquer stand. Very good condition. Dimensions:  6” wide, 12” high w/spear.
