Exquisitely sublime set of 10 red lacquer sake bowls (shu-hiki-sakazuki) with black lacquer stand, early-mid 20th century. Rich, glossy lacquer. Sheer perfection in subtle form and execution. Remarkable care and detail visible throughout this skilled work of lacquer artisanship. Comes with kiri wood tomobako storage box. Very good condition. Dimensions: 1” (2.5 cm) x 4.5” (11 cm) bowl, 2.5” (6 cm) x 5.25” (13 cm) stand.
