Elegant antique Japanese maru style obi, early Taisho period, c. 1912. Pure silk, fully patterned on both sides, luxuriously heavyweight. Splendid, phoenix, pine and plum blossom motif. Varied, lush colors. Traditionally wrapped around waist and tied, but also makes a fabulous table runner, window dressing, or wall décor. Dimensions: approximately 4 yards long, 12.5" wide. Very good condition.
