Exquisite Japanese lacquer suzuri-bako writing box, Taisho period, c. 1912-1926. Charming floral and flowing grasses motif on exterior.  Inside are are removable suzuri inkstone and suiteki (water dropper) as well as multiple brushes and stand.  Comes with original wood storage box.  A gorgeous piece! Very good condition.  Dimensions:  2” x 9” x 11”.
