Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Lovely Japanese tea caddy or natsume with hinged lid, mid-20th century.  This style of tea storage jar is known as oimatsu-chaki.  It features exquisite Urushi lacquer, a type of finish originating in the 1600s.  An exceptional piece in very good condition.
