Superb Japanese lacquer natsume for the tea ceremony by master lacquer artist Yosai, Meiji-Taisho period, 1868-1926.  Exceptional kiri (paulownia) leaf motif finely rendered in rich gold maki-e lacquer.  Beautifully conceived and skillfully crafted.  Comes with kiri wood tomobako storage box.  Very good condition.  Dimensions:  2” high, 3.5” diameter.
