Extraordinary old pair of Japanese hair ornaments, comb and pin, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912. Rich red lacquer, finely painted and abundantly accented by mother-of-pearl inlay. A remarkable and elegant pair in very good condition. Dimensions:  4” x 2.5” (comb), 7.5” (stick).
