Splendid pair Japanese lacquered wood ceremonial sake bowl stands or haidai, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912.  Artist Tsujii.  Rich, red guri bori lacquer technique lavished with intricate incised décor. Remarkable care and detail visible throughout this skilled work of lacquer artisanship.   Comes with inscribed tomobako kiri wood storage box.  Very good condition. Dimensions:  3.5” (8.8 cm) x 4.5” (11 cm) square.
