Classic shape, flawlessly carved, richly grained kiri (paulownia) wood.  Traditionally used as a dry tea storage jar for the tea ceremony, this classic piece stands as a refined work of Japanese art. Comes with kiri wood tomobako storage box.  Very good condition.
