Enchanting Japanese blue-and-white Imari porcelain bowl, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912.  All handpainted in nuanced Imari mineral palette.  Featuring lucky god, Ebisu, symbol of bountiful fishing, safe sailing and prosperity to all. Wonderful patterning along edge and representing rippling sea both inside and outside.  Very skillfully painted with fancy and imagination.  Very good condition.  Dimensions:  4" x 14.5".
