Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Whimsical Japanese Gosho doll with Noh mask, Taisho period (1912-1926). Shown holding oversized mask of Okino, the bearded character who originated in the Genryu style Noh play Dance of Monkeys.  Traditional oversized head, chubby body and brilliant white skin, created by the application of many layers of polished gofun. Very good condition.  Comes with signed kiri wood storage box.
