Whimsical Japanese Gosho doll, Taisho period (1912-1926). Shown with mirror and ladle. Traditional oversized head, chubby body and brilliant white skin, created by the application of many layers of polished gofun. Wonderful pose and expression. Very good condition. Comes with kiri wood storage box. Dimensions: 5” x 6.5” x 3.5” (stand); 3.5” doll.
