Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Whimsical Japanese carved wood fox okimono with temple drum, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912.  Finely carved okimono with wonderful, detail and imaginative crafting.  The fox or kitsune is a creature known in Japanese folklore for trickery and disguise.  They can portend good luck.  Very good condition.
