Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Magnificent, huge Japanese wood, lacquer and gilt temple Amida Buddha, late Edo period, c. 1800-1868.  Beautiful gilt finish with full-body mandorla. Serenely posed in standing position atop lotus blossom throne. Exceptionally well carved, compassionate face. Extremely rare to find such a large, old item is such good condition. Wonderful item for dramatic home shrine or display.
