Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Huge Japanese bronze temple bell or singing bowl, Meiji period, c. 1868-1912.  Wonderful hammered bronzework both inside and out, seated on cushion atop a red and gold lacquered wood stand with accompanying striker.  Subtle, high-quality workmanship.  Traditionally used at temple or for personal religious practice as well as dramatic display.  Produces a fine, rich tone.
