Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Gorgeous Japanese handwoven bamboo flower basket for ikebana by Seisai, Taisho-Showa period, early 20th century.  Similar to baskets by Maeda Chikubosai I, so we believe Seisai may have been one of his students.  From the Kansai region.  Beautiful crafting with varied weaving techniques and appealing form. Rich, dark patina.  Ideal for use with dramatic floral display.
