Description Return Policy Ask About Layaway   Spectacular Japanese stone lantern or garden ishidoro, late Edo-early Meiji period, c. 1850-1900.  This piece came to us, along with several others, from a garden near Kyoto.  Ishidoro are traditionally used to light temple, shrine and tea garden areas.  This piece is Kasuga style, a pedestal form originating at the Kasuga Shrine in Nara.  Very good condition.  Dimensions:  120” high, 45” diameter.   Features Please note that, when ordering through our shopping cart, your credit card will be processed only after confirmation of availability and shipping options.
