Fantastic Japanese musician gosho doll, late Edo period, c. 1800-1850. Extremely rare to find a doll of this age with clothing and much of hair intact. Kyoto made, indicating the highest quality and craftsmanship. Details include drum and very finely made silk brocade costume with hand-embroidery. Very good condition.
